MY JOURNEY

Samuel Kahre is a professional cellist based in the Sarasota and Tampa Bay area, known for blending classical technique with modern live looping, cinematic arrangements, and contemporary performance styles that create a refined and unforgettable atmosphere.

Over the past two decades, Samuel has performed for weddings, luxury events, hotels, worship gatherings, and public audiences across the country, developing a distinctive sound that pushes beyond the traditional expectations of the cello. His performances range from elegant solo interpretations to layered live arrangements that combine cello, guitar, and ambient textures in real time.

Having performed alongside artists such as Chris Tomlin, Lauren Daigle, and CeCe Winans, Samuel continues to pursue music with the belief that great art should not only entertain, but move people deeply in a way that glorifies the One who gave him his gift.

Professional Experience

Hired to perform back of house for: Hillsong United, Chris Stapleton, Mumford and Sons, Alan Jackson, P!NK, Justin Timberlake, twenty one pilots, Blake Shelton, Post Malone, Trace Adkins, KISS, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, and others.

Has performed alongside CCM artists such as: Chris Tomlin, Lauren Daigle, Phil Wickham, Brooke Ligertwood, CeCe Winans, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Matt Redman, and many others.

Provided live music for a Red Carpet event featuring decorated actor Dennis Quaid.

Over 19 years of experience in live performances, event entertainment, and professional engagements.

Delivered music for more than 170 weddings, providing memorable performances for couples and guests alike.

Selected to perform at two governor inaugurations.

Featured performer at the OKC Philharmonic's prestigious Maestro’s Ball.

Notable Achievements

Winner of the 2017 Cellovoce Cello competition in Poland.

Performed the National Anthem for 10 NBA games, including high-profile Playoff games.

Played at the State of Creativity event with Sir Ken Robinson at the Civic Center Music Hall in 2015, in association with the Oklahoma Orchestra League.

Personally chosen by Mark Wood, original String Master of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, to perform at the Muzart World Foundation concert, and continued performing alongside him in subsequent concerts.
